Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology is holding the “7th Smart Innovation Application Competition for Technical and Vocational Schools” We kindly invite your assistance in promoting this event and encouraging students from technology-related departments to participate.

Details:

1. This competition is co-organized by Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology and the Industry-Academia Collaboration Office of the Ministry of Education's Talent Cultivation Platform, led by National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. By fostering collaboration between technical colleges and vocational high schools, the competition aims to inspire students to pursue related academic fields and careers in the ICT industry, thereby cultivating future professionals with strong competitive capabilities.

2. The competition theme is “Utilizing ICT technologies combined with smart terminal devices to creatively enhance daily convenience.” Categories include digital Manufacturing, Cloud Applications, digital Connectivity, digital Healthcare, digital Energy, and digital Agriculture. The goal is to improve human life through technology. Participants may use any development platform but must integrate both hardware and software. Projects that involve information security applications or cross-disciplinary integration will receive additional points.

3. Event schedule and Location:

Registration Period: September 1, 2025 (Monday) to October 7, 2025 (Tuesday) at 5:00 PM.
* **Preliminary Results Announcement:** November 5, 2025 (Wednesday).
* **Final Competition Date:** November 29, 2025 (Saturday).
* **Final Competition Venue:** San Lian Hall, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (No. 1, Nantai Street, Yongkang District, Tainan City).
